- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★In 2007 I was involved in a horrific Big Rig accident. The injuries I received where many. Traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, 8 Herniated and bulging disc, Punctured heart and lungs, broken femur, dislocated joints, torn rotator cuff, several heart attacks, strokes and was resuscitated 4 times just to name a few. During my hospital stay the nurses where telling my wife that I would not make it through the night and if I did survive I would not lead a normal life. My case was super complicated as the insurance company denied coverage for my injuries and claimed that I was not an employee of the trucking company I drove for. After going through 2 separate attorneys and wasted 6 years of valuable time, I was referred to Mr. Humphrey of Humphrey and Associates. My prior attorneys threw my case into their so called paper mill and basically did absolutely nothing to advance it. Mr. Humphrey tackled all of the intricate elements of my case and won at every stage. When the insurance company said there was no coverage, Mr. Humphrey proved that there was. When the insurance company said I was not an employee, Mr. Humphrey proved that I was. In total Humphrey and associates worked harder for me when everyone else had given up. I am in deep gratitude to Kevin Humphrey and his law firm. Anyone that has gone through the workers comp system in California should know what a complete mess it is. It is next to impossible for the average person to receive what the law affords them without proper representation. I can safely tell anyone that it takes a hard working law firm just to get through the process. Any time I needed to talk with Mr. Humphrey or his staff there was always someone there to take my call. Never once did I feel I was not important. It was a while ago 2001 but the memory is still fresh .We were in the market for a new seat and guide machine for the shop.As bad luck would have it Tim just happens to call and offer financing at 5%and1dollar buy out. After a couple calls we decide to go with it. He said he would send the contract after sending him approximately $950.00.We did and he sent the contract, but it was not what we agreed on. He had 11%for the interest and no dollar buy out. After some heated conversations we got 1/2 of our money back; Tim kept the rest. Tim Curren is a thief and a liar DO NOT TRUST HIM!!! Back then that amount hurt, We were just getting going but it was also a lesson I never forgot.By Steve Dannible, September 03, 2017
